Reservation Policy

Please familiarise yourself with our policy relating to your reservation:

1. Confirmation of reservation:

Reservations will only be confirmed once the following is adhered to………

(a) Reservation form must be signed and faxed back to the Paindane reservation office with copy of your bank/internet deposit slip. No confirmation without your signature.

(b)    Dep ref no: must reflect on all deposit slips / Internet banking transfers as the reference for the transaction, before the transaction is made.

(c)    Deposits must be paid by the due date on reservation form; if not, reservation will be cancelled.

(d)    No provisional bookings will be made, all reservations will be handled on a “first come, first serve” basis.

(e)   Please check all information, dates & prices on the reservation sheet before you sign and fax/email it back to this office.

(f)    Please quote your deposit ref. no. for any queries and correspondence regarding your reservation at the resort.

(g)    All reservations must be confirmed with the booking office by fax/email. No tel. bookings will be accepted.

(h) A campsite fee of a R200.00 p.n. will be charged on any campsites with less than 8 persons on.

2. Cancellation of reservation:

(a) In the case of a cancellation, you will forfeit 100 % of all monies paid to date.

(b) 24 hours grace from arrival date - will be granted to clients "en route" to the resort. The resort reserves the right to cancel your reservation and place other clients on/in your campsite/chalet for the duration of your reservation, should you not arrive within the 24 hour period

(d) In the event of your reservation being cancelled due to an "act of God", i.e. Floods, etc. deposits will not be refunded.

(e) Arrangements may be made 60 days prior to your arrival date, for the reservation to be moved to the following year.

3. Non-arrival / late arrival / early departure of clients:

In the event of your:

(a)    Non-arrival – you will forfeit your deposit and other payments already made.
(b)    Late arrival – no refund for days not spent at the resort.
(c)    Early departure – no refund for days not spent at the resort

4. Deposit Payment:

(a)    An 80% non-refundable deposit, (amount as indicated on your reservation form) is required to secure and confirm your reservation. Should you not be in a position to pay the full deposit by the due date, kindly contact this office to make arrangements for payment.

(b)    The balance (amount as indicated on your reservation form) is payable at the resort.

(c)    Kindly make sure that you are in possession of your reservation form and all original deposit slips as proof of payment on arrival at the resort.

5. Payment at the resort:

(a)    Only SA Rands /Meticais/USA Dollers will be accepted for any payment at the resort.
(b)    No cheques.
(c)    Only Visa Credit Card with pin.
